This is a super antique George V sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/2" (3.5 cms) x 1 1/4″ (3 cms) across and hallmarked for Chester 1914 with the silversmiths mark for John & William F. Deeakin.
It’s in excellent condition with no damage and it weighs 19.5 grams.
Inside is gilded with space for stamps in the lid and the coin holder springs as it should - the coin does not come with the case it is for display purposes only.
There are no inscriptions or monograms and any marks you can see are just reflections.
