Description
This is a lovely cast silver salver made by specialist salver maker Richard Rugg and hallmarked in London 1759. It is made with a heavy gauge of silver and stands firmly on 3 ball and claw feet. Hallmarks are clearly struck and there is an attractive armorial to the centre and an ornate shaped border. The salver is in good condition with just some surface usage marks. This is a good quality silver salver made by the renowned Georgian specialist (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections).
