Description
A fine cast sterling silver salver made by Ebenezer Coker and hallmarked in London 1762. It is in very good condition with only minor surface marks and there is no damage or repair. Standing firmly on 3 hoof feet it has a gadrooned scalloped rim and is inscribed with a ducal crown and scroll initials. The piece is made with a heavy gauge of silver as one would expect from this Georgian silversmith who specialised in salvers (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections).
