Description
A fine antique Georgian sterling silver salver made by John Swift and hallmarked in London 1750 This salver made by Heming is of high quality. It has been made with a heavy gauge of silver and sits firmly on 3 hoof feet and has a wide Chippendale border. There are 3 vacant cartouches surrounding a central crest. The salver is in very good condition and sits firmly on the feet but there is one minor blemish in the form of a repaired pinhole in the centre, only about 2mm wide and not very obvious but mentioned for total accuracy.
