This is a high quality Georgian sterling silver salver or tray made by William Bennett and hallmarked in London 1811. It is in very good condition and has been made with a heavy gauge of silver. There is gadroon decoration to the raised stepped rim and this continues to the 4 bracket feet. There is a lion crest engraved to the centre but no other decoration or engravings. Hallmarks are clearly struck. A fine Georgian silver salver.
