A beautiful Victorian sterling silver cuff bangle. Pretty aesthetic style engraving featuring flowers, foliate and a swallow in flight, the engraving spans across the front of the bangle and it has a plain back. The swallow in Victorian jewellery representing amongst other things safe passage and returning home from travel, perhaps a gift from a sailor to his love as a promise to return home. Chunky 1' width with a wavy rim, push catch opening, marked on the inner with real silver band. Just under 8' circumference. It weighs approx 28.70 grams. Any questions or queries please contact us.
