Antique Half Hunter Pocket Watch

The watch has a 15 jewel key-winding movement, which is working well. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is not hallmarked although it has tested positive for silver, properly Continental silver. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use The Arabic numerals surrounding the small lens to the front are picked out in black. The button on the stem pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which has minor marking from use, The outer acrylic lens is in nice condition. The enamel dial, is in nice condition. Note the special hands designed for half hunter watches so that the time can be read even when the front cover is closed… if they were standard pocket watch hands, it would be difficult to decipher between hour and minute hands. The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
