Highly decorative heraldic shield, hand painted on shaped tin metal and retaining its original hanging strap and suspension ring. The shield is decorated with a striking arrangement of heraldic devices, including a bishop's mitre, lions passant, chevrons, crosses, anchors and floral motifs. all executed in vibrant colours with gilt highlights.
