Antique Heriz Rug 1.76m x 1.44m

A lovely antique Heriz rug, woven circa 1910. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a rich terracotta field surrounded by a classic deep indigo border. Very attractive secondary colours of greens, pinks and golds and particularly the teal surrounding the medallion. A great example of village weaving and a highly decorative rug. Size: 1.76m x 1.44m (5ft 9in x 4ft 9in) This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a couple of small areas (see photos).
