Antique Heriz Runner 3.62m x 0.95m

A fabulous antique Heriz runner, woven in the first quarter of the C20th. The design features a series of geometrical medallions on a terracotta field surrounded by an ivory and camel border. There’s a lot to like - full pile, great colours, figures and even the weaver’s signature (Rasoul). There is also a date, however it's quite difficult to read. Some of my esteemed colleagues believe it is 1319 (making it 1901) while others suggest it is 1347 (making it 1929). Either way, it's old (and great). Size: 3.62m x 0.95m (11ft 10in x 3ft 2in) This runner is in good condition with full, chunky pile. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. Free worldwide shipping.
