Description
This is a fabulous 19th century Indian dowry chest with stunning carved detail to the front panel all hand painted in its original soft, muted colour palette. The hardwood chest is in excellent original condition with a really solid construction and decorative hand forged iron strap work as well as its original hand forged metal clasp.
The chest is a very practical size for a coffee table or bottom of bed storage and measures 116cm wide by 47cm high by 40cm deep.
