Antique Jaf Bag Face

A fabulous antique bag face, woven by the Jaf tribe of Kurdistan circa 1900, possibly slightly earlier. The bag features a diamond lattice design of reds, blues, pinks and greens surrounded by a deep indigo border. Soft, lustrous wool and great natural dyes Size: 0.64m x 0.76m (2ft 1in x 2ft 6in) This bag face is in good condition with light, age related wear. Slight corrosion to brown, as expected (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. Free worldwide shipping.
