Antique Japanese Scribe's Table Top Bureau Desk 1920s

Condition is pretty good structurally; cosmetically it's rather worn though pleasingly enough. There are various bumps, scrapes and marks; the veneer on the flap has one 'bubble'; the catches on the flap and doors are incomplete and so don't function (they don't really need to); one drawer handle has had its drop replaced. Inside the writing felt is rather dishevelled and there are ink stains of different colours. Both flap hinges have a missing piece but still work fine. Personally I think all these things just add to its general marvellousness; you can almost see the scribe/clerk/artist doing their thing.
