Antique Metalware 19th Century Copper Hot Water Jug Stamped J. G. Shaw - Chester. English 1820-1840

A nice survival from the early 19th Century, is this well made copper hot water jug, complete with either the makers name or the owners...J. G. Shaw - Chester.... it also has a M stamped on the handle and lid, probably for ''medium'' size....the jug is in excellent condition and finished off with a desirable acorn finial. English c1820-1840.
