Antique Oak Swivel Desk Chair

A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a thick shaped seat. It has an attractive curving shape and the back is supported by turned spindles and two curved arms. It has four splayed legs with castors below. The height of the seat is adjustable and the chair swivels on a large bolt. It is in very good condition for its age. It has developed a lovely patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks and knocks here and there but nothing detrimental. The swivel mechanism is in good strong working order with minimal play for a chair of this age. The chair stands approximately 31" (79cm) high and it is 21 1/2" (54.5cm) wide across the arms. The seat is 18" (46cm) deep and 17 1/2" (44.5cm) high, although the height is adjustable.
