Antique Omega silver pocket watch. The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number, 4,260,068, dates it back to around 1914. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover which bears the Omega name, images of medals and a mention of the Grand Prix (main prize) at the Paris 1900 expo. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are .900 silver marks inside both of the back covers. The case is in good condition for such an early piece, a hint of unevenness and a little light marking but overall it is very acceptable. The acrylic lens is in good condition. The dial is a later replacement. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch. We are a Vat registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
