Antique Ornate Silver Sealing Wax Holder

This is gorgeous! a solid sterling silver sealing wax holder dating from the end of the Victorian era. The wax holder is hallmarked for London 1893 with the maker's mark for Samuel Jacob. It is hinged at both ends and topped with an elephant. Up to 6" (15.5cm) of sealing wax can be stored at the elephant end and matches stored at the other end by the match strike.
