A truly elegant antique single-strand cultured pearl necklace, dating to circa 1920, featuring a remarkable floral clasp set with natural diamonds and a vivid Ceylon sapphire. This timeless piece comprises 99 hand-knotted cultured saltwater pearls, each with a beautiful ivory-cream hue and delicate pink-green overtones. Their lustre is superb, and they are impressively smooth and blemish-free. The 9ct gold clasp is adorned with a 5mm round Ceylon blue sapphire at the centre, surrounded by twenty-four old-cut diamonds arranged in a charming millegrain floral motif. The clasp is fitted with a safety chain for added security.
