Antique Perfume Scent Bottle Porcelain Enamel & Gilt Heart Shape Silver Lid Birmingham 1907

Antique porcelain perfume bottle with silver lid which has the maker's mark DL and full set of English hallmarks for Birmingham 1907. This perfume bottle measures 5.5 cm in length with a maximum width of 4 cm and is a lay-down bottle. It is made of white porcelain with very pretty coloured enamelled decoration with floral and ribbon garland motif and with gilt dots. This decoration extends all around the bottle and is repeated on the front and back. Both sides of the bottle are pictured. The plain silver lid is a screw on lid with cork liner. This feminine and elegant antique perfume bottle is offered in very good condition. The porcelain body has no chips, cracks or crazing. The lid fits firmly and securely and has all screw threads intact and is free of dents or dings. There is no wear to the enamel and gilt decoration.
