Antique Perfume Scent Chatelaine Bottle Porcelain with Silver Overlay c.1890

On offer is this fine antique chatelaine scent bottle dating circa 1890. This perfume bottle is made of dark blue porcelain with wonderful sterling silver overlay in art nouveau floral motif to the front. The bottle is fitted with an unmarked but tested plain sterling silver hinged lid and has attached suspensory chain so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. This antique perfume bottle measures 8.3cm in height (excluding the chain) and has a maximum width of 3.5cm. It is offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the porcelain body, no missing or lifting silver. The bottle has an undamaged internal glass stopper and the silver lid fits firmly and securely. There is a tiny ding to the top of the lid.
