There are splits to sections of the timber, consistent with age, although these are stable and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. There is evidence of historic woodworm throughout; this is long inactive and the pew has been treated as a precaution. The cushion and removable cover are in good usable condition. The pew remains solid, stable and structurally sound. Overall, an attractive example with good character and practical appeal.
