Antique Pine Sea Chest with Internal Tray

This is a useful small antique pine chest dating to the late 19th century. The chest is made of solid pine and has a lift up lid to the top and wooden handles to either end. It is a very characterful piece which would have once been used on long sea voyages as a small piece of luggage. Internally there is a deep lift out storage tray which is a later addition. It is perfect for use as a small tool or storage chest or perhaps as a keepsake box. The wood has a natural looking waxed finish.
