Antique Porcelain Enamelled Perfume Scent Bottle Silver Lid Birmingham 1906

On offer is this attractive antique porcelain perfume bottle with silver lid which has the maker's mark DL and full set of English hallmarks for Birmingham 1906 This perfume bottle measures 6 cm in length and is a lay down bottle. It is made of white porcelain with lovely scalloped shape and very pretty coloured enamelled decoration with floral and ribbon garland motif. There are traces of gilt dots too but these are now mostly worn. The floral decoration extends all around the bottle and is repeated on the front and back and I have pictured both sides. The plain silver lid is a screw on lid and would have originally had a cork liner which is now missing. This feminine and elegant antique perfume bottle is offered in good condition. The porcelain body has no chips, cracks or crazing. The lid fits firmly and securely and has all screw threads intact and is free of dents or dings.
