Description
This is an antique revolving bookcase. An English, walnut rotating novel library, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Attractive rotating library, handy to keep favourite titles to hand that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select walnut shows fine grain interest throughout. Rich russet hues beam beneath the quality wax polish finish.
It is of square proportion and rotating smoothly upon its axis. Each of the four sides offering a shelf depth of 14cm (5.5"). Compartment width and height of 22.5cm and 12.5cm respectively (8.75'' & 5''). Raised upon four spade feet surrounding a useful under tier.
This is an appealing antique revolving bookcase, with fine colour and detail, being well suited for the home library or reading nook. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
