Antique Ruby, Diamond and pearl ring, 15ct gold

A stunning antique, Victorian Ruby, pearl and diamond ring in 15ct yellow gold. It has an unusual decorative flower and leaf type engraved setting to the front, the two creamy white pearls set above one another in the almost tulip shaped setting. The pearls are flanked by pretty pink / red rubies that set into the fanned leaf shape engraving and there is a row of 3 sparkling white diamonds either side of those. The ring has attractive stepped shoulders each featuring a shell shaped engraving and a smooth and rich 15ct yellow gold band. A superbly beautiful piece. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office, 15ct gold, makers mark SU, year 1892. Condition: Good used condition overall with some light surface wear commensurate with age, stones are in nice condition, a little wear to the back of the band near the marks but nice clear hallmarking.
