This is a handsome hand woven Saroukh Feraghan carpet dating from around 1910. The carpet has a striking design with central diamond shaped medallion and well chosen colour palette featuring a warm red and both mid blue and indigo. It has a stylised flower filled field and a rich cinnamon shade to the spandrels, all framed by pretty multiple borders.
