The subtly faceted glass body of each dish features a plain elevated handpiece to either side. Each antique dish is fitted with an impressive hallmarked sterling silver cover, surmounted with a plain rounded handle to the centre. These exceptional antique dishes sit to the original sterling silver plates/trays. Each plate is plain and unembellished, with a plain raised rounded border. Each dish retains the Hamilton & Inches London sterling silver hors d'oeurve fork, each with an incurved heel below the two curvilinear tines. These impressive dishes are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the cover bears the retailer's mark 'By Appointment, Hamilton & Inches, 88 Princes Street, Edinburgh'.
