Antique Secretaire Desk Bookcase Hobbs & Co Coramndel

This is a stunning large mahogany secretaire bookcase we date to circa 1860. This piece is by Hobbs & Co of London who were reknowed for these type of pieces. The piece is inscribed Hobbs & Co on the locks please see close up photo. Roll top desk section opens out to reveal writing surface which has cormandel wood around it. Such a great piece of cabinet making with lots of storage Top section comes apart from bottom. Some of our items are in storage so please check ahead of a viewing to see if it is on our shop floor.
