Antique Seed Pearl & 15k Yellow Gold Necklace / Brooch c.1880

A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian seed pearl and 15 karat yellow gold necklace/brooch; part of our Victorian jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique pearl necklace/brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. The symmetrical interlacing floriated necklace design is embellished fifty-one graduating seed pearls. This antique Victorian necklace supports a detachable heart-shaped brooch via a removable bale ornamented with two further seed pearls; this versatile piece can be worn as a necklace, pendant or brooch. The brooch is embellished with a central floral and scroll decorated design, encompassed with a heart shaped frame, all incorporating thirty-seven graduating seed pearls, completing the anterior design. This antique pearl necklace setting is suspended from a rope twist chain and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded ring bolt fastening. This antique yellow gold, pearl and diamond pendant is hallmarked to the reverse of the settings with the 15k mark (15ct) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold. This antique brooch is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
