Description

19th Century antique silver and black enamel Celtic Cross, 1.5 x 0.75 of an inch, enamel is fine with a few marks that can only be seen if you angle it to reflect light. Age; 1870s to the 1900s Unmarked in any way, tests fine for sterling silver (Xrf technology). Quite a pretty looking cross and more interesting in that it is a Celtic Cross, and possibly intended as a mourning item of jewellery with having black enamel.
