Antique Silver Bridge Whist, Trump or Suit Marker

Here we have a delightful trump/suit marker, so evocative of afternoon card games widely played in the first half of the 20th Century. This example is from Harrison & Hipwood and was assayed in Birmingham in 1923, when they produced several versions, alongside many other small items relating to games, leisure and social pursuits. The 'suits' are made of celluloid.
