Description
This is a fabulous late 19th Century English Victorian antique silver topped 'rocker blotter' with embossed acanthus decoration. The handle unscrews to release blotting paper for replacement (in working order).
Hallmarked Birmingham 1897 and marked 'L & S' (mis-strike) for the maker Levi & Salaman - Phineas Harris Levi and & Joseph Wolfe Salaman.

Condition is good and reflects use on a regular basis over a period in excess of 125 years. There are 2 very tiny holes in the silver due to over enthusiastic polishing
