Description
A lovely folding silver Bladed fruit-knife with mother of pearl handle and a vacant cartouche in oval form. The hallmarks show it was assayed in Sheffield by the quality makers Mappin Brothers in 1896/1897. Closed it measures 6.5cm and open 11cm.

Good period condition. Mother of pearl has a lovely sheen to it, vacant cartouche. Hallmarks are clear, there is a slight wobble to the tip of the blade.
