Description
George II Antique Silver Warwick Cruet which is finely proportioned with all its original fittings.
The cruet comprises a large silver sugar caster and two matching spice or pepper casters, to the sides. To the rear are two beautifully hand cut original bottles for oil and vinegar with detachable tops which fit into rings on the side.
The crest to the main caster is used by various families including Clive, Finch, Evelyn and Wentworth -Watson ( Marquis of Rockingham ) and others.
A wonderful cruet that is made by the specialist cruet and caster maker Samuel Wood (1704-1794).
