This large, heavy; silver mounted cut glass inkwell is by William Hutton & Sons Ltd It has a beautifully faceted cut glass base and a simple heavy gauge silver lid that wonderfully contrasts, yet compliments, the late Victorian design fixation with very masculine, deep cut glass patterns.
