This Victorian silver longuard chain is just stunning.
If you were looking for a nice heavy antique statement chain then this is for you!
A good quality sterling silver flat curb link chain which can easily be wrapped over thrice.
It has a sterling silver dog clip fastener attached with a free moving jump ring, marked SD.
Also on the chain is an interesting vintage 1920's sterling silver medallion pendant, the front features an embossed low relief image of men playing tug of war, the reverse is engraved Mountsorrel Granite Co Ltd 1924.
The chain is unmarked but tests as sterling silver, the pendant is fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay office 1923, maker William James Dingley.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, there is some age commensurate wear and signs of use, aged patina and some surface wear, nice and strong.

Pendant 1" width and 1.5" length
Dog clip 1" length
Collectively they weigh at approximately 110 grams.
