Antique Silver Novelty Pin Cushion - Car

A wonderful example of Edwardian whimsy - a solid sterling silver pin cushion fashioned as a vintage car, although not, of course, vintage when this was designed and manufactured. The base is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 with the maker's mark of Levi & Salaman. There is also a Patent Registration number. Other than one small pin prick on the back (as shown in the penultimate picture), the silver is in an excellent, although uncleaned, condition. The cushion has been replaced at some point and the item is priced accordingly. Complimentary gift wrapping is available upon request.
