Antique Silver Pin Cushion / Ring / Earring or Jewellery Box

This is a splendid large; hallmarked solid silver and velvet pin cushion. Circular in shape, it is large enough be used as either a small sewing box, ring, earring or jewellery box. Full Birmingham hallmarks for 1919 and the makers mark of W Hutton & Sons, one of the top silversmiths of the time, which is evidenced in the exceptional quality of the silver collar. The lovely detailed repousse garlands decorating the band are repeated around the circumference, as is the simple but effective single bead border. A fabulous gift (or personal indulgence) which can also be gift wrapped if required for an upcoming special occasion.
