The chain measures 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar and chain is hallmarked for Chester 1915, with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith Edwin Pope who often used the Chester assay office. Each of the links has the lion silver mark.
Also included is a silver fob with rose gold overlay to the shield and football. The reverse of the fob is engraved,’ Ford Dept League, 1935-6, Runners Up’. The fob is hallmarked for Birmingham 1926.
