Antique Silver Pocket Watch Chain & Irish Football Fob

The chain measures 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1904, with a maker’s mark for Booth & Biggs. The chain is graduated. The clasp is a period replacement, hallmarked for 1919. The chain comes with silver fob which carries Irish silver marks, a crowned harp mark which indicates the purity of silver, specifically in Dublin. An inscription to the reverse which is difficult to read but appears as, ' Corn Fine Tall / Sall, 1955, Fine Tallion / Sallion'. Total weight 43g.
