These delightful, elegant, heavy gauge silver salad servers were rescued from potentially being melted down, largely because they were fitted with ugly, plain non descript 'bone' handles.
Now they are resplendent, fitted with finely turned handles in laburnum wood.
In a refurbished period case these salad servers would make a lovely gift or a simply marvelous addition to anyone's summer lunch table, indoors or out

Larkin & Gallow has clarified that the Antique Silver Salad Servers with Laburnum Wood Handles (LA453499) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1886
condition
These salad servers are in a very good condition with newly fitted, polished handles in English Laburnum wood. The silver is heavy gauge with just light surface scratching commensurate with age and normal everyday use. The hallmarks are clear on both bowls.
