larger than normal silver Clan Badge, "Deo Juvante" Demi Lion facing left within a Garter; possibly Clan Duff as they have used this motto both in the longer and shorter form but this does not discount that I may be incorrect and it could possibly be another Scottish Clan or even an Irish Clan. There is a limit to the amount of research I can do. Age: difficult to answer and is based on the condition, it is better made and more substantial than all the other Clan Badges I have at this time and is similar to a Georgian Clan Badge that I have recently had, mid to late Victorian would be an honest estimate. The hinge has been professionally replaced, other than that all is good.
