Description
The chain measures 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The T-bar and clasp are hallmarked for 1896 and have the makers mark for the Birmingham based manufacturing jewellers Manton & Mole. Each of the links on the chain have the lion silver mark.
Also included is a silver The Chess Amateur Medal, awarded to G R Hardcastle, and hallmarked for Birmingham 1908. Originally there would have been blue enamel detailing but only traces now remain.
