This is a lovely antique hallmarked solid sterling silver double sovereign case measuring 2" (5 cms) x 1 1/4" (3 cms) and hallmarked for Birmingham 1914 with the silversmiths mark for E. J. Houlston.
It's in super condition (any dark marks are just reflections) and the sovereign areas spring as they should.
It weighs 24.6 grams and the sovereign is for display only and doesn't come with the case.
