Description
Offered for sale is this exceptional, highly sought-after and very collectible antique sterling silver button hook. This button hook has a steel hook with the handle being made from sterling silver modelled with a Pug dog's head on both sides, retaining all four original cut and faceted red glass eyes (two each side).
The silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1906. This button hook measures 15.5 cm in length and the silver handle alone is 5.5 cm in length. Offered in very good condition with normal light age and usage marks.
