Description
Stunning pair of Antique Edwardian sterling silver salts dishes Chester 1901. Renowned maker in William Aitken. Good weight for the pair of 88 grams. Rare sought after Chester Hallmark from 1901.
Dishes in navette form with gilded interiors. (Gilding prevents salt corrosion.) Extended swept handles with ring ends. Set on oval pedestal feet with reeded and bead detail. Lovely embossed garland decoration and fluted base.
