An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique George V English sterling silver presentation bowl; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection
This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver bowl has a circular rounded form to a circular domed foot.
The body of this sterling silver bowl is embellished with an impressive band of engraved decoration to the upper portion incorporating alternating vacant cartouches.
Each cartouche incorporates a scrolling leaf design to the lower portion, in addition to a pensile leaf design to the nadir.
The upper rim of the bowl is encompassed with an applied moulded border.
This exceptional bowl was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd and bears the retailer's mark 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Ltd, 112, Regent St W' to the underside.
