Antique Sterling Silver Vesta Case, Round, Xmas 1912

A fantastic little antique sterling silver vesta case. Made in England it is a circular shaped Vesta case designed to be added to an antique silver Albert chain and filled with matches for lighting on the go. It has an integral striker to the outer base. Engraved design to the front reads; HGS Xmas 1912, probably given as a gift. Hallmarked for Sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office 1912 Condition: Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age and use, small dings and dents, lid slightly stiff.
