Description
This superb 18th Century antique mahogany Grandfather longcase clock has a case with an attractive light wood inlay. It has brass Corinthian capitals to trunk soor and hood which has a Swan neck. It has an attractive painted dial, where the arch of the dial contains the automation of a moving Galleon. The dial signed "Magnus Swansea" found listed as dated 1844. It has an 8 day striking movement which is in good working order. It has weights, winding key and pendulum.
