Description
This is an antique travel trunk. An English, pine and zinc lined carriage chest dating to the Victorian period. A substantial, appealing period chest with tricolour, industrial chic. Displays a desirable aged patina and light distress to the white-wash finish. White-wash juxtaposed against the black sides and natural, naked plinth. Generous interior lined with zinc - perfect for expeditions. Braced lid opens wide and rests upon a pair of long hinges.
Front features a brass lined lock, key absent. Sides dressed with drop handles for ease of carriage. Corners reinforced with iron straps for added strength. Standing upon a deep, continuous plinth base.
This is a charming antique travel trunk with a distinct industrial taste. Solid joints and construction, delivered polished and ready for the home.
